Pickett, Fritz to Co-Host Gun Law Seminar Feb. 27 in Wyoming County
TUNKHANNOCK – In their continuing effort to educate the public regarding Pennsylvania’s firearms laws, Reps. Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Wyoming) and Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) are co-hosting a Concealed Carry/Castle Doctrine Seminar in Laceyville on Tuesday, Feb. 27. The free event will take place at the Black Walnut American Legion, 328 Old Route 6 Road from 6-8 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
“These seminars are a great way for local gun owners to learn more about their rights, and they are always well attended,” said Pickett. “Our presenters are experts on Pennsylvania law and do a good job explaining them and answering questions from the audience.”
The seminar will be conducted by Wyoming County District Attorney Joseph Peters and Wyoming County Sheriff Robert Roberts.
“Arming my fellow pro-Second Amendment constituents with information is a primary focus. Knowledge is strength, and I want my neighbors to be responsible and up to date on all aspects of gun ownership, and particularly their rights,” Fritz said. “Looking forward to a strong turnout.”
Registration is required for this event because seating is limited. Attendees can register online at RepPickett.com/events or by calling Pickett’s district office in Tunkhannock at 570-836-4777.
