Public Transportation Available for Pickett’s Senior Expo

The free event will be held this Friday, June 21, at Athens Lynch-Bustin Elementary School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

HARRISBURG – Rep. Tina Pickett (R-Braford/Sullivan/Susquehanna) applauds the recent passage of legislation that would require health insurers to cover treatment plans for Lyme disease or related tick-borne illnesses as prescribed by a patient’s health care practitioner. The bill was approved in the Pennsylvania House on Wednesday by a solid bipartisan vote of 158-34.

Rural Business Issues to be Focus of Policy Committee Roundtable

WHAT: The House Majority Policy Committee, chaired by Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest), will travel to Wellsboro, Tioga County, to host a roundtable discussion with local businesses, education institutions and organizations. Topics to be discussed will include rural broadband access, workforce development, and deregulation and government barriers to small business. This is part of the House Republican Caucus’s #GoodJobs4PA legislative package.
