Senior Scam Seminars

Rep. Tina Pickett is hosting a Senior Scam Seminar on Friday, April 25, 10-11:30 p.m. at Sons & Daughters of Italy, 301 Desmond St. in Sayre. A representative from the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities will present information on popular scams and how to avoid them, including cryptocurrency scams. Also, hosting a Senior Scam Seminar on Friday, May 9, 10 a.m. to Noon, at the Triton Hose Company, 116 W. Tioga St. in Tunkhannock. A representative from the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities will present information on popular scams and lead a game of “Fraud Bingo.” Coffee and donuts will be provided.
